Spruce Up Austin has been helping people plant honorary trees on public property since 1995. Honorary trees can be planted for many reasons, memory of a loved one, birth of a child, special anniversary, or recognition of service.

Online Honorary Application

SUA will help coordinate the planting of an honorary tree from selection of tree to location. We will plant the tree for you, or assist you in planting. All honorary trees planted through Spruce Up Austin will be listed on our honorary tree registry which will be permanently located in the Kiosk at Horace Austin Park by the Mill Pond. All trees planted through Spruce Up Austin must be planted on city, county, state, non-profit or public school property within the Austin city limits.
